In later years, the words hit differently. Move me into quiet consideration. Thoughtful meditation.
On how this is lived out. Day by day.
The problem of pain sits in shadows. Valleys. Sometimes hidden.
Walking by faith, we navigate broken streets. And journey with hurting people.
Face to face with a biblical reality.
“For we know that the whole creation groans…” (Romans 8:22 NASB).
“Watch and pray.”
Jesus said this to His followers. In the hours leading up to His arrest and trial and crucifixion.
Garden of Gethsemane. Place of excruciating surrender.
“Not my will, but Yours be done.”
