New covenant.
Not like before. When glory shone on the mountaintop, obscured by clouds. Or in the tabernacle’s Holy of Holies, behind the veil.
Or the time glory filled the temple and no one could enter.
No, something changed.

New covenant.
Not like before. When glory shone on the mountaintop, obscured by clouds. Or in the tabernacle’s Holy of Holies, behind the veil.
Or the time glory filled the temple and no one could enter.
No, something changed.

God’s Word resounds with Who He is. In the details.
Rich and true. With bits and pieces interwoven. Connecting in surprising ways.
And along the path as we walk with Him, He faithfully teaches. Reveals. Counsels His children by the Holy Spirit.
So one day, I’m in the book of Zechariah. Noticing 30 pieces of silver.

“Meditate on the word of God.” I hear these words as a child. Not fully understanding what they mean.
But memorize, early on, “I have treasured Your word in my heart, so that I may not sin against You” (Psalm 119:11).
Treasuring His Word.
Learning right and wrong. Wisdom and foolishness. Truth and deceit.
That’s only the beginning.
