Without lenses, the world is one blurry shape after another for me.
Muted colors. Fading edges. Always a curious guess as to what they are.
And along the way, signs I cannot read.
So I move through. Blind in the blur.

It’s the all and fully and every that get me.
In all wisdom and spiritual understanding?
Fully pleasing to God?
Bearing fruit in every good work? Strengthened with all power?

Gods of limited space.
The enemy reasons, “Their gods are gods of the hill country. That’s why they were stronger than we were…. We should fight with them on the plain; and we will certainly be stronger than they” (1 Kings 20:23).
Contained areas. Hills or plains. Mountains or valleys. These are where gods rule. Or so they think.
But the Arameans soon find out. This God is different.
