Seeping into the throng of thoughts populating our minds.
Hitching themselves to “what if’s” and “why’s” and “how’s.”

“You are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man” (Mark 8:33 ESV).
This. After Christ reveals what is to come.
Suffering. Death. Then resurrection.
And Peter rebukes Him. Having just called Him the Christ. Now denying the truth spoken by that very One, the Word of God?
Not Peter’s best move. And his Master’s words must shake him to the core. “Get behind Me, Satan.”
Be fruitful and multiply. Woven throughout the Word of God.
From the garden of Eden. And the covenant with Abraham. Into the new covenant. The Vine and branches.
