Back in the day we studied our stress by listing losses. Marking life experiences.

All the cross-cultural moves. Illnesses. Births. Deaths. Evacuations.

Added up, the numbers were telling.

Stress levels confirmed.

Unto us a Child is born.

Unto us. In a broken world. Where sorrow runs deep. And grief overwhelms.

Where loss breaks our hearts.

And we forget to breathe.

No rush.

Permission granted. To turn off tech.

Leave the non-stop.

Breathe.
