Pray in the moment.
Thoughts. Whispers. Walking conversations with the Father.
During ordinary, daily tasks.
At home or on the road. In school or at the office.
Wherever we go.

Word of God in the mouth of the prophet. Sweet to the taste. Like honey.
So says Ezekiel. David. And the apostle John.
Word of God, eaten. By Jeremiah.
The words He gives sometimes hit strong with judgment. Jarring.
But even there, sustaining. Healing.
In a world that groans to be made right again.
The word of the Lord comes to Jeremiah.
Calling out kings.
“Woe to him who builds his house without righteousness,
And his upstairs rooms without justice,
Who uses his neighbor’s services without pay
And does not give him his wages….”
Jeremiah 22:13
But kings. And others.
Stubbornly. Willfully do not listen.
To God’s voice.
