RagTag Writers

Once upon a time, three women who love to write, lived in the same neighborhood. On an island. In Malaysia.

One of them had an idea.

“Why don’t we form a writers group?” Two were especially eager to learn from the published author among them. All wanted to grow their writing skills and fulfill some writing goals.

In 2015, RagTag Writers was born.

Limited space

Gods of limited space.

The enemy reasons, “Their gods are gods of the hill country. That’s why they were stronger than we were…. We should fight with them on the plain; and we will certainly be stronger than they” (1 Kings 20:23).

Contained areas. Hills or plains. Mountains or valleys. These are where gods rule. Or so they think.

But the Arameans soon find out. This God is different.

Letting go

Letting go.

I hold the simple karahi with both hands. We bought these aluminum wok-like pans in the bazaar during our first months in Pakistan.

They sit, hidden behind other pots in the cabinet. Rarely used lately.

It’s time.

Letting go.
